My name is Amanda Wininger my interest in the class was based on the fact that I love to watch movies. I also wanted to learn more about Ancient Greece and Rome. The movies I like to watch are comedies or mystery movies simply because I love to laugh and I like to figure out who is guilty. I do not like romance movies because they are always predictable and it is the same story over and over again.

I don't think there's a whole lot of toga movie mysteries, unfortunately. That is a shame because there definitely is a genre of mystery novels set in ancient Greece and Rome. Have you ever heard of Steven Saylor's Gordianus the Finder series? There are lots of others, but most aren't as well written.
