Martin Braggart Soldier/Casina review

The two plays were both limited by the fact that we had to read them. It made it a lot less fun, I feel like both plays rely on a sense of absurdity which is lost without tone. Both plays were oddly similar, and I thought it was interesting how in A Braggart Soldier a slave took the role of main character. Also, the meta tone of the plays where they were self-referential was interesting, but I would not say it was funny. I did not dislike them, but they just lost a layer of humor because of the limits of the medium.
